Why You Need to Get a Course First
Where to start internet marketing is always a daunting and confusing task for many people, not mention how many people resort to trial and error in the beginning.
If this is you, you have come to the right article.
The good and bad news is, the online business space is so juiced with all kinds of opportunities for everyone. At the same, saturated with all manner of misleading sales pitch from marketers to sell-you-in on fluff and shiny objects that don’t work
You can easily get sucked in and be frustrated without the right information.
So, it is important that you that the first buck and time you spend towards starting a business online should be invested in a quality course that would put things in the right perspective for you and comprehensive training that aligns your path to success.
Knowledge acquired is the weapon you need for the challenges online business terrain throws at you.
Without fear nor favor, I will be very frank with you.
About four years ago, I came online. Not to start a business but to join what I thought would make me money, but lost money instead. I had bought into hype and fluff because I was very naive and was without the proper information. In hindsight, I wish I bought into a course first.
It is true that nothing is new under the sun, but it is also true that there is at least one person out there with whom my story and experience will resonate. They will make that connection and the necessary adjustments that will give them the desired result.
The reason I am sharing this is that I wasn’t really a beginner when I signed up for a course. I felt I needed the training on how to build a legit business online. You don’t have to be a complete newbie to consider signing up for a course is what I am aiming at.
Sometimes, life would require you to get on the drawing board so you don’t completely lose sight of your goals. That could be taking a course designed to help you refocus. Invest in a course today.
Get a Mentor
Getting a mentor plays a huge role in building a business online. It is a hundred percent way to keep afloat business raging waters. When the going gets really rough and tough, oh yes, they always do… A mentor will offer some guidance and direction based on experience to help you navigate changes as they come. Having a solid and spine-like mentor any kind of small business can be a game-changer. It could well be the difference between your failure or success in business.
Like we all do, businesses need support, encouragement, and community – and everything an inspiring mentor can bring to the table.
But you need to understand that mentorship can also come from a community of people with common goals and focus, where everyone pitches in with support.
Getting a mentor online or getting a mentor for your online business can be a bit of a challenge sometimes for the simple fact that everything is virtual reality so trusting someone on the opposite side of the world through a virtual plane can be unrealistic.
How to identify the right online mentor or community.
How this plays out would vary from person to person or business to business. In my opinion, it is not a difficult task.
- First, identify what you are really passionate about.
- Find an influencer who is already successful in it. Most definitely, look at the size of his community. On the other hand, I’ll rather focus more on the quality of content the mentor provides and how relevant it would be to my business as opposed to following a mentor because he has a large community.
- How “successful” are his followers? You want to find out if there are other people in the mentor’s community that are successful. In other words, is he making an impact in people’s lives? Like the Bible says, you shall know them by the fruit they produce. Smile.
- Is the mentor the type you can send an email and get a response?
Once you have identified your mentor, you want to start learning some skills
Acquiring useful skills should be pursued consistently in building your business online.
After losing money to all kinds of “opportunities”, It registered that I have to build a business… An own business online. Something I am 100 percent in control of. I had to start the mad acquisition of skills. I went all in.
No matter how large one’s online presence can be on social media platforms, setting up an own website is a core and one of the fundamentals of building a successful business online.
As I started a course, I soon realized how easy it is to build a website and blog. I immediately started to create content.

The Earlier You Learn How to Make Videos, The Better For Your Business
I learned how to make and edit videos because video content is so powerful and relevant to building online and local businesses in this day and age.

Because I couldn’t afford to hire graphic artists and the disappointments that come with the territory, I had to learn how to create some by myself. No! I am not tech-savvy! I wish I learned about analytics when I first came online.
This type of tool very instrumental and helpful for the overall growth of your business, if you know how to use it.
Analytics are like slingshots on target
The google search bar basically stores up an amount of useful data from the search terms that people type in to find results or solutions to their problems. That database becomes a gold mine and relevant to product research.
Apart from Google Analytics, there are a ton of them out there. I use one called Jaaxy, not because I think it is better than all other research tools, but it is 100 percent user-friendly.
